He also contributes to newspapers and periodicals, including the ‘Daily Telegraph’, ’Daily Express’, the ‘Spectator’ and the ‘Mail On Sunday’. He has been a guest presenter on the ‘Late Edition’ current affairs programme.

Since 1992 Charles has been proprietor of Althorp House and Estate.
During this period he has restructured business practices, refurbished the house throughout, and developed a substantial corporate client list for events at the House.

Charles has significant international management experience. With his television work he has visited more than 30 countries, and for the past 10 years he has lived in, or been a frequent visitor to, South Africa.
